Fundraising Spotlight – Kate’s Fitness Race
We are thrilled to share that the lovely Kate Brennan, a passionate supporter, took part in the Hyrox women’s fitness race to raise funds for The Strongtower Foundation.
This demanding fitness event, which took place on Saturday 4th May 2024, combined running sprints with challenging strength exercises such as rowing and sled pulls – these images speak for themselves!
Our commitment to care for survivors of modern slavery, who are often among the most vulnerable members of society, deeply resonates with Kate’s values, and we are truly grateful for her decision to dedicate her time and effort towards our mission. Her courage and the generosity of those supporting the fundraiser are a wonderful reminder of the impact of collective action.
In my opinion, we all have a moral obligation to stand up to issues like [modern slavery] and do what we can in our position of privilege to help.

Every single contribution to her fundraiser will amplify the impact of her amazing initiative and make a huge difference for us as we continue our work to provide safe housing and holistic support for modern slavery survivors, alongside our outreach and community awareness efforts.
